The program was established and founded by Milton Barnes in 2016 with the Battle Creek Family YMCA serving as its’ home location. Since then Play Right Basketball Academy has grown in numerous ways. With the addition of Golf, Tennis, Tee Ball and other sports activities we have changed the name to Play Right Sports Academy. As a 501 (c)3 charity created to positively impact area youth our partnerships include Battle Creek Public Schools, Marshall Public Schools, New Level Sports of Battle Creek, Jackson Public Schools with plans of including other communities and collaboration with other programs throughout southwest Michigan.
