Our Programs

The Play Right Sports Academy is an after school program for boys and girls from third grade through tenth grades in the Battle Creek, Albion, Marshall, Jackson, and greater Calhoun County area. It runs three days per week for nine months each year.

The core principles are desire, dedication and discipline. Through these principles, students will be encouraged to have the desire to be their best; dedication to hard work, and discipline to make good decisions on and off the court.

Academics

At Play Right Sports Academy, we understand the importance of academics for the youth in our program. We believe that academic success is crucial for our students to achieve their full potential both on and off the playing fields. As such, we provide academic support and resources to help our students succeed in school. Our coaches and staff work with our students to develop time management skills, study habits, and organizational skills, and we encourage them to prioritize their academics alongside their athletic pursuits. By emphasizing academics in everything we do, we hope to instill in our students the importance of education and the value of hard work, both on and off the playing fields.

Basketball

Our experienced coaches provide personalized training and instruction, focusing on fundamental skills such as dribbling, shooting, passing, and defense. In addition to skill development, our program also emphasizes teamwork, sportsmanship, and leadership. We believe that participation will not only help our students become better athletes, but also better individuals who can apply these principles to all aspects of their lives.

Golf

Our golf program is a great opportunity for young children to learn the game of golf and improve their skills. Our program is open to boys and girls from K through 12th grade, and we welcome students of all skill levels. Our experienced coaches provide personalized training and instruction, focusing on golf fundamentals such as grip, stance, and swing mechanics. We also emphasize the importance of sportsmanship, integrity, and etiquette on the golf course. Our goal is to help our students build confidence, improve their skills, and develop a love for the game of golf.

Flag Football

Our flag football program at is a great opportunity for boys and girls to learn and play the game of football in a safe and fun environment. Our coaches provide personalized training and instruction, focusing on flag football fundamentals such as passing, catching, running, and defense. We also emphasize the importance of teamwork, sportsmanship, and leadership, as these are crucial for a successful flag football team. We believe that participation in our flag football program will not only help our students become better athletes, but also better individuals who can apply these principles to all aspects of their lives.

Cheerleading
